oh sounds interesting, I'm too scared of using pigments because they just go everywhere when being applied. xD
I have grown to dislike using pigments but I found pressing them was really easy and it's so much better than using pigments themselves xx
Wow. That sounds like a great idea. Where do you find xanthan gum? I've done the alcohol before but some don't hold together well.
I'm sorry for being a bit dumb but what do you actually do to bind them, like what is the process?
Basically you get an empty eyeshadow pan, put some pigment in. In a bowl you mix xanthan gum and rubbing alcohol together, then you put a few drops of it into the pigment on the pan and mix, when you have enough then you make sure it's level and set it to one side to dry for a bit, after approx 1 hr you get a cloth or piece of tissue and a 2p coin, lay the tissue over the shadow pan and put the coin on top and press the eyeshadow, once pressed you leave it to dry over night or for 24 hours xx
Ah! fantastic, thank you. I'll definitely try this out when i'm back home. Does it smell weird though?
Good top coat recommendations please people, price not a problem, it's mainly for covering nail art. I already use OPI DS top coat but not finding it lasting that long at all :/
