I love, love, love makeup. I live and breathe it, pretty much. I am thinking about getting some sort of beauty-license in the future. It's one of the few things I'm pretty good at. :) YouTube tutorials have greatly educated me. :P
I'm always trying out foundations. What's everyones favourie??
I've tried stuff that's cost as little as £8 to £39!! I'm currently loving Dior Dior skin nude. It's best for people who don't want it too heavy but I still mix a little moisturiser in with it. It's like water based. It's very lovely and looks flawless. If you take a little pot to a store that sells it ya can get a sample :)
I think I'm going to be sticking to this one for a Long time. I've had my bottle for about hmm 5 month now lol lasts me ages

Bad paint job but I'm rather happy with the effect, I was hoping it would look cow print-esque lol
^^Oooh, they look nice :)
Bit annoyed today, since I brought an Avon foundation the other day, in Ivory, and it's still really orange :S.After about an hour or something it seemed to look lighter, but it was way darker than my neck at first, no matter how much I blended.Really annoyed, since it looks way lighter in the bottle.Does using a primer actually help?I had used a really light moisturiser before, so wondering if that might've affected it?
Thank you :) I fixed the blank bits and the varnish being everywhere lol
Primer might help but I think primers often make the colour stronger or more true...or something :S sorry I know NOTHING about foundation, never worn it :S
Yeah primer just basicly holds the makeup on and more smooth
Ah, ok thanks.Damn it :(.
My face is much darker than my neck :(
But anyway, I've never really found Avon foundation to suit me. All too dark/orange. Shame really, cause apart from the colour they seem quite nice.
I've discovered there is a light porcelain dream matte mousse! It seems hit and miss though. Sometimes its wonderful, perfect and the best thing ever, other days it goes cakey and shows up every little flakey bit on my skin (I has serious combination skin). I dunno what I'm doing wrong....
The colours not quite right. But nothing ever looks right when my face & neck are so different. Tis good enough!
I've never found any foundation to suit me yet :(.And i'm not keen on trying mineral foundations cos that's a bit more effort than I like to spend on how I look, I only wear foundation cos my skins a bit crap.Apart from the color it seems really nice though, it makes my skin look nicer just a slightly wierd color :/.Ah well, maybe I can mix two foundations.Doesn't look any worse than the previous one I was using though.
