I was pretty annoyed with the ref too, and I think the try could've gone either way and people would've had to accept it. However, England failed to put together a convincing attack with their forwards and Wilkinson was disappointing as he has been all tournament, so we didn't deserve to win.
Most of us, i.e. 90%, don't blame the ref for the loss against France. In the news during the week after the game, there was hardly a mention of the ref. He sure didn't help, but at the end of the day, it was the AB's who lost the game for themselves, and we all know, and most of us admit it. In honesty, I didn't watch most of the NZ vs. France game, I based my initial whinge on what my mum was screaming at the TV - I forgot she tends to be one of those New Zealanders you refer to :tongue:Quote:

I wish the Scots would stop moaning about it... It seems that it's perfectly ok for the Scots to hate the English but if we dare say anything bad about the Scots/Welsh/Irish/any other nationality then we're a bunch of racist b**tards. The double standards annoy me!
I dont hate the English... I just dont want them to win sporting events.
