I like the smell of neatsfoot oil too, but I dont think I'd care to taste it. Anyone else like the smell of burning foot from hot shoeing?
Hmmm have just realised how smelly horse keeping is..
Neither can I, Its like when you burn your hair but a million times worse!
LOL i quite like that smell as well.
Along with Haylage, sugar beet/beep pulp, molassed apple chaff, and most other feed.
Has anyone else actually tried the lick-it's before putting them in the stable?
Or am i just weird? lol
Me and one of the other girls at the yard licked them to see what they tasted like lol, i liked the Cherry one :D
hehe i've tried just about every horse feed we've had at the yard!
Flaked barley is quite nice....:D
Burning hoof is NOT nice.
When I worked at the livery yard that my old horse was in, I always had to hold onto the horses that were a bit skatty during shoeing.
Never been headbutted and kicked so much in my life.
Agreed...haha I was always that mug as well....and the fool who had to ride all the nutcases....being tall I could ride 17hhs but where I was so light I also had to back anything from 11.2hh...I swear some of the little ones were the worst!
Anyone else eaten sugar beet? Felt like eating maggots....ewww.
