Something so simple yet amazing. I was visiting my daughter this weekend, and had her for the night. I was on the phone to Annie, and I heard my little Beth waking up, so I walked upstairs. Just as I said goodbye to Annie, Beth looked at me and said.....

....'Love you daddy'.....

and put her arms out for a hug and to be carried downstairs. I actually lost it for a moment.
