    Question Tongue piercing indentation

Hey yo guys it's been a while

So I've had my tongue piercing for about... I think 2 years now? And the dent is just as big :( I can't really tell if it has migrated or not, but is there a way to kinda get rid of it?

Idk. Should have gone by now. I'd assumed it must be because your bar is too short but it doesn't look that tight to Mr. I've had my tongue piercing for about two years too but my indentation reduced after the first couple of months.

Guessing Hazel might have a suggestion.

I love your lip ring btw!
    Piercings:
Nose, tongue, navel, both nipples horizontally, VCH

    Tattoos:
Line of butterflies from lower belly round onto back and up to my shoulder

    Thanks guys

Also, I don't think the bar is short? In fact it has some room to downsize it: it's 5/8 atm while I believe it could actually be 9/16 instead

@Miss Fi - may I ask what bar length you currently have as well as ball size? o: also ty for the compliment!

I'm currently in Germany now which isn't my homeland, so I don't really know about piercers reputation here. I also don't know if they work with implant grade jewelry (since now I'm used to buying from bodyartforms)

I got down to 12mm with my tongue piercing with plenty of room but that's my tongue, not yours. Everyone is different. Sometimes people just experience indents more than others.

Thank you Hazel, can I also ask what ball size do you have right now? I have sent emails to as many piercing shops in Hamburg I could and I will wait for their reply. Hopefully they know what they are talking about :(

I retired mine a very long time ago so I cannot remember at all. Probably 4mm.

Okay c: I also noticed... when I have my mouth closed, I tend to always be forcing my tongue against the roof of my mouth instead of having my tongue relaxed. Maybe that's also contributing to a bigger indent :I Which sucks since it's something unconscious orz

I think the one I've got in now is 14mm with 5mm balls.

It's fairly snug but has a decent amount of movement.
