    Default Nipple desensitisation

Hi all, I did ask this in my diary here: http://www.bodyjewelleryshop.com/for...=1#post1284283

But I know some people may not look at it with it being straightforward updates and thought I'd post in this section with a relevant title as well with it being related/linked to something adult based.

Just wondered if anyone had experienced this if so did it get better and if the piercing was retired did the sensitivity come back?

I have tried to google and do research on this but am finding little other than people asking pre-piercing and many people saying they didn't experience any loss of sensation.

Sorry in advance if this seems like double posting or repetitious.

Meh, so sorry Hazel I really hope it's not desensitization.....I am not expert on nip piercings but what you said does make sense, taking one of them off for a bit and seeing how it reacts? I hope you won't have to retire them, sounds like you like them Best of luck!

That's ok mine did feel a bit more sensitive when they were new, I love them and they give me no problems at all. My left will be going bye bye I reckon so I can do comparison after a bit more testing (lucky hubby lol). Sigh am trying to be upbeat about it but am really quite gutted and deffo will be if it doesn't improve once retired. Well I can be an experiment for others if nothing else lol

Well I've decided to take one out, done a final soak so will see how it goes. I think doing oil massages may be a good idea too?

As for me-- at the beginning my nipple piercing was supersensitive, like the pleasurable result I've always wanted.

But as it kept getting bumped and a lil scarred up from healing I noticed the sensitivity went away too. I still like the way the piercing looks though which is probably why I still have it... but might be taking it out sooner rather than later =/

I wish you the best of luck. And yes, massages should be good. If the desensitization IS due to scar tissue, the massages should help to break up the scar tissue in there. It just might hurt some but you're supposed to keep going.

Be sure to let us know what happens! hell for my sake, I wanna know too!
