    Default Snug or Conch piercing...?

I'm thinking of having either my Snug or Conch done in the next week or so.
But I'm super stuck between which one i want more. I'll end up getting both in the end, but i cant afford them both at the minute.
Which would you'se say was your preferred one? And which is 'easier' to care for?

Its likely I'll get it done at Eclipse in Camden, and was wondering if all of their ear piercings are around the same price? I got my rook done in there for 26, will it be the same or more?

    Thankss

    This'll be a short reply, because it's late and I'm tired :P

Conch is easier to care for, and quicker to heal. Snugs are hard to heal, and often flare up. I don't want to put you off it, but it's important to be aware how difficult a piercing it can be. If you go for the snug make sure and get pierced with a curved barbell, anything else is usually asking for rejection and complications during healing.

It depends which one you want to get first, seeing as you say you'll eventually get both. You might want to have the easier healing conch first, or you might want to get the tougher snug healed before getting the conch. Personally, I'd get the conch first.

    Good luck either way

EDIT - prices should be around the same as your rook

I had this problem, so I decided on a conch and a rook. As Lauren said, they are very hard to care for as they are in a very delicate and prominent area of the ear, meaning that they are more likely to flare and get angry cus of the constant knocking.

I'd go with the conch first anyway

    Good luck!

My snug has migrated rather nicely (not). I also managed to re-open the migrated path in my sleep, which caused a rather unsightly flare up ;-).

I think for me personally, its better because I don't catch it on my hair, however as I'm a serial ear-tucker, I think I'd catch the back of the conch more. I didn't realise at the time they were as difficult as they apparently are... but I think I'd rather have the snug (and the pain, tears, goo-filled lumps, and swell-on-touch).

Snug is a nightmare at times.. but its alright as long as you care for it well and make sure you get a curved barbell if you do get it!

I got my conch done 3 days ago and it is a dream to care for. It doesn't hurt, I can rest on that side if i'm careful and cleaning is a doddle
As for ear-tucking mine sits so that it wouldn't be too much of a problem if a small enough bar is used.
Hope it goes well, whatever you choose

I'm a little biased because I LOVE conch piercings but I'd say go for that. It'll definitely be waaay easier to care for than a snug. It might be cheaper in some places too, but I'm not sure.

I think I have decided on the Conch; I have wanted it longer and I do love it.
If all goes to plan I should be pierced on Saturday

I'm completely torn between these two as my next as well! Going off people's stories though, I'm leaning more towards the conch now~ Will it hurt as much as the rook? That's the only piercing which actually made me squeal a little bit! (I have 7)

Where I go, Salsa in St Helens, my anti-tragus and rook were only 20 each.

My conch was no more or less than any other cartilage piercing I've had (tragus and helix)
