    Default Anti Tragus Lump

So i have had my anti tragus done for about a year now (i am a very slow healer) but a month or two ago a red lump has appeard at the side of it. i could only describe it to look like a blood blister.
Just wondering what it is and how to get rid of it?
I had the same thing happen when i got my top ear pierced which i have had done 3 times and every time it has gone horrible and had to be taken out :(
I am really not so lucky with piercings, it sucks.
LOL i nearly got my lip done today but am put off in case that goes horribly wrong. Plus i watched my friend go first and that put me waaay off it
    any help/suggestions would be great!

Unfortuanatley cartalidge pieircings are very prone to the bumps,i have retired 3 tragus piercings and my anti-tragus because of them.
The one on my anti-tragus grew massive, the size of an 8mm ball,my piercer cut it off and all was well for a while but it grw back and was causing me so much pain i jhad to remove it.
But if the bump is small you can do a few things you can do,first off try doing salt soaks twice a day,1/4 teaspoon sea salt to a cup of boiled water.Dip kitchen towel into it as hot as you can stand without burning and hold it on the bump.Tea-tree oil applied to the bump, careful no to get it in the hole can help dry it out.
Most people find this can get rid of the bump completely,I`m one of the unlucky ones

lol unluckily it isnt! its on the outside.
it was a bit swollen too buut i had an asprin and it seems to have bought the swelling down a bit.
And i have started cleaning it with salt water again which seems to have dried it out and shrunk the lump down a little.
i think i will need to downsize the bar but the lump would get in the way at the min.
i hope it goes away soon!

No, peroxide shouldn't be anywhere near piercings.

Just keep up the sea salt soaks, twice a day, and remember not to touch it or mess with it at all!

Omg... Peroxide on a piercing ?!
    NOT a good idea..

Asperin paste can help, but some ppl will say it's not that good for the piercing...

Sea Salt Soaks and chamoile? tea bag compresses can help..
    Probably not spelled right..
Hope you get my point anyway.. ^^

How much salt are you using? Cut it down a bit. And don't do more than 2 or 3 soaks a day. Putting emu oil around the piercing should help with dryness.
