    Default Under the Skin

Forgive me if there has been a topic about this but I searched and nothing useful came up. Also Google wasn't very helpful.

    Anyway! My question!
Under the Skin, Aldershot. Has anyone ever been there?

Basically me and 2 friends wanted to go get some piercings (me finally getting those helix cones I have been talking about for AGES now).

Guildford rubbish for piercings as far as I am aware. On one hand I have Claire's Accessories which I know everyone on this forum LOVES or Toni's who charges 7.50 gunned and 30 needled. No thanks!

I've heard that they charge 2.50 for a needled helix but I'm not sure if that's true and I just wanted some feedback whilst I consider going there?

    Thanks again in advance!

    2.50 is suspiciously cheap...

I dont know but 2.50 for a needled helix sounds really cheap and to cheap are they using the needles more than once on every one lol

    Very reassuring haha.

Agreed. Ideally I'd go back to Eclipse it's just so expensive.

What I want is 3 Forward Helix with Cones in either Barbells or Labret Studs.

    If I go to Eclipse:

    14 for the Train - 7.50 if I pretend I'm a child
    Piercing with Barbells 20
    Piercing with Coned Barbells 25
    Pretty piercings priceless....

Sorry couldn't resist. Yes so that racks up a total 82.50.

These are the prices I got from the email they sent me after I asked them about costs etc.

Or alternatively if it is 2.50 it racks up to round about 10 including the train.

There's no way in hell I'd go to a piercer charging 2.50 for a helix piercing :|

Aren't there any better piercers closer than London? Search the database here (and on BME) for any locations in between you and London...there's gotta be somewhere easier to get to.

Most piercers will do a discount for 3 piercings by the way.

but it sounds risky just for cash, there is know way they could cover the cost of

    needles
    jewellery
    gloves
    cleaning gear
    insurence

all with 2.50 I would say see if you can get a lower cost from the other plce if you tell them what you want and because of the small bulk could you have a nice deal

I want 3 cones on my helix like spikes they look good

EDIT: Kate beet me in less words lol

in the piercing industry, you usually get what you pay for, small price - low quality. why not try Chioko, also in camden.

if its your body concerned the money is worth it

You can't put a price on a good piercing. I charge 20 for a helix, and I don't consider that expensive.

It depends on the area, too. If I was in Birmingham I wouldn't consider 20 for a helix expensive, but in Manchester I would, heh. Everything just seems to be cheaper up here.
