Thread: Piercing Ages

I was just wondering about different ages to be able to get piercings. I am 15 and am going to Southhampton in 3 weeks and hopefully getting a monroe piercing. If anybody knows of the ages (with parent permission) or of any good places that are liscenced to pierce people under 16 that would be great

Some places pierce with parental permission under 16, but watch out as some places don't pierce at all under 16, regardless of whether you have permission or not.25mm Lobe x2, 10mm Helix, 8mm Septum, 8mm Conch, 4mm Conch
4mm Tragus, 3.2mm Tragus, 2.4mm Scaffold, 2.4mm Lip x5, 2.4mm Vertical Nipple, 2mm Cheeks
1.6mm Nostrils, Helix, Daith, Bridge, Navel, Rook, Snug

And some pierce under 16s with no parental permission - the dodgy ones that are best avoided.

unlikely. as far as i know... no piercings under 16 without consent, 18+ for genital and extreme...

I 100% will have consent though as my mum will be with me. Thanks for the help so far

There may not be any reputable piercers around who will do it without parental permission.
Ah right, saw that you'll have consent! Fair enough then. Not sure about any particular piercers around there, try looking on BME and Googling and see which shops look good. Or wait until some local members come along and hopefully someone will have suggestions.

I know my piercer won't even pierce 16 year olds in visible places if they're still at school due to schools being problematic about it, so that may also be something to watch out for.

My school wont allow piercings except lobes. But they allow clear retainers for other piercings, so Ive bought one already

Are you getting piered with that then?
