    Default nose screw too long?

Hey, I just got my nostril pierced and love it. My only problem is the jewelry. He put in a nose screw that was flattened and shaped into an L. But the L part sticks way back into my nostril. It just feels too long. Is there anything I can do or is it a complete no no to switch it for something else so soon. I would really like a micro ball, but he couldnt put that in to start with. How long should I wait? :?:

The piercer put an L shape in when you first got it done?
I always thought you had to have one of these...

in when you first got it done?

either way the image I showed you hides the bar on the inside.
Also I wouldn't advise putting a stud in with a ball on the end unless it's pretty long because they have a habbit of getting stuck and have to get pulled out..I learnt this the hard way.
My piercer even said the studs with the ball on the end shouldn't excist because of the amount of trouble can cause even if it doesn't show the metal on the otherside.

i have the nose screw that Domilly has the pic of.. i thought that was one that is commonly used for initial piercings?

fluffybunny2001 - the straight stud as in a nose bone? does it have a ball on the inside?

    Default me again

He did put in a nose screw, its just been bent into an L shape. He said that this would put less stress on the piercing. What I want to put in isnt a stud with a ball. Its a micro ball, which has a flat disc on one side and a removable ball on the other end that way you dont have to pull it through the opening. I really just dont know what to do about the length of the piece in my nose. Imagine that picutre of a nose screw being shaped into an L. That is whats sticking back into my nostril cavity. If I move it forward it completely sticks out of my nose. Either way it feels uncomfortable. What should I do?

my stud is just a normal stud bit like a normal earring but without the back and without that stupid ridge you get with piercing gun earrings, wasn`t done with a gun it was done with a needle.i have to wear a plaster over it at night to stop it falling out if that discription is any good.
